This weekend saw an important race for me and the Travers Team.
The Potash Spring Classic organised by Travers bikes was set to start at 1100 on the 26th of April, a constant watch of the mets weather app showed rain.
Summer racing should be about dust and hardpacked dirt and dry fibrous loam. Well thats what we like to think and it would be easier if it was as tyre choices would pretty much stay the same.
In the rush to get the new 2015 Rudy 29 up and running during the week saw me slap on the Race king /Speed king combo that I have been running for a couple of races now. An inspection of the course on the morning of the race had me wishing that id gone X-king/race king.
